Ignorance isn't evidence

Ignorance =/= Evidence

Everyone who knows me on here, other sites and real life know that I consider myself an agnostic atheist. To some they say you cannot be both!!! You are either an agnostic, or you are an atheist!!! As I discussed in the stamps I made regarding such here

There are many things once attributed to god, that we now know exactly how it works, what makes it work, how to initiate and imitate it etc.. so this idea that ignorance of something means there is a god because we cannot explain it….

If you are content in god made it and that works for you, great but what use are you in the natural world if you are content with not knowing?

To make such an ignorant claim that our ignorance, the fact that we do not know something is in its very existence evidence of your deity…without actual empiric evidence of your deity contradicts every ounce of reasoning known to man.

Every time I get into a debate about science, and I am the first to admit that science does not explain everything, as one of my favorite scientist quoted above stating of all the scientific questions ever ponders, and of the cosmos that we only understand and know fully how 4% of the stuff works, meaning that is 96% of stuff that science has yet to explain. As he said, if you are content in “God did it’ then what use are you?

As stated, I am an agnostic atheist, I hold no belief in the deity yet I am not arrogant, or ignorant as to say there is no evidence for the deity so that MUST mean the deity exists. I tend to be a pragmatist, if you bring me actual evidence of the existence of the deity.. .whether I will be happy in my stupidity of claiming the deity does not exist after that is one thing. Yet without evidence, you can either choose to take it on faith that a deity exists, or you can, like me and millions of others, I would rather

The question always comes up… the good or evil nature of science..
Why is science evil? eve ate from the tree of knowledge, SCIENCE, is Latin for scientia, knowledge which root is sciens to know... ... so basically science is evil because knowledge brought man down from the divine

Science is a threat to faith as we know... it teaches man that that which you gave to your divine as its power, we are giving it back to you in its application, its design and more importantly its understanding.

Science is neither good or evil, it lacks the ability to commit the acts with vicious intent. Such things can only be applied to man… it is man who can use, not use what we learned from science in malicious or benevolent intent…
