I do not post on here as much because I primarily post on twitter and facebook, but given today is the three year anniversary of the death of Tamir Rice, a 12 year old who was shot in less than 2 seconds after the cop pulled up, I figured I would post this and thus on this

How is it that cops can lie, and video prove that they lied and yet the shooting is still justified?
To get this out of the way, it was a BB gun, which is perfectly legal for someone of his age to be playing with under Ohio law at the time.. the kid was 12 but I will get back to that later.
In the entire video he appears only to speak to one person, at which this site blurred out the person because police said that they do not know if he knew the individual or not because the individual had not been identified.. and that was the only time I saw him speaking with anyone while holding the BB gun.. one individual.. far less than the "people" that police claimed right after the shooting that he had

Sadly the new McCarthyist era is now on the left (and some right too) that if you do not hop on the RUSSIA train then CLEARLY you must work for the Kremlin.

Yet, you had Sanders, a man who spoke pretty much all policy even when asked a general question would always find some way to loop policy into it. There is a reason even with all of the cheating behind the scenes of the DNC that this 74 year old guy, who had every Dem governor, mayor, almost every Dem in Congress and a number of media outlets against him - that only political junkies knew- still managed to get 47% of the vote against the most powerful name in Democratic Politics - Clinton.
So Democrats, if they want a chance in 2018 or better yet 2020 better start harping on POLICY, get away from just the easy thing of optics ... but since many of the corporate dems are against much of the policies that the progressive base wants, that is also part of the problem.

House Republicans passed theAHCA (American Health Care Act) which made damn near everything a preexisting condition, it is like they did not even go line by line and say okay this should be a preexisting condition. They just basically repealed the pre-existing condition under Obamacare which was very specific and took it back to the rules before which more or less left it up to the companies on what they would consider a preexisting condition which would be almost anything.
Trump praised Australia healthcare law, which is funny since he has previously praised Canada, Britain and just general 'Europe" as doing it better than us. Yet claims to be against a single payer healthcare system which is the one thing all of those countries have with respect to their healthcare systems.
Sanders had the right response of okay, let us get healthcare like Australia, the Republican president has said they do it better - - but you have many democrats who outright say they are opposed to single payer
Trump fired James Comey, an FBI Director who I personally thought should not be picked since he is a perfect example of the revolving door - he went from Government to working for investment banks, back into government and I expect he will go back to working on board of investment banks .. I await to see who he will pick...like Obama picked, I expect another person with ties to the banks

I have said since November 8th, 2016 that my main thing over the next two and four years will be to call Trump out when he does stupid things, which if you follow my facebook or are friends there I do, but mainly to call out the left, you cannot throw stones while living in a glass house as they say and the Democratic party fears critique of their own party.
Anyone who critiques them is painted as .. OH SO YOU SUPPORT TRUMP, or as Bill Maher did when he showed a picture of Jill Stein while saying "terrible enemy" on his show which Secular Talk on youtube actually tackled it.
I said for over a year that you cannot just be a non Trump and think you deserve the vote, and Maher saying if you thought Hillary Clinton was the lesser evil then basically go fuck yourself.
Democrats must be honest as to why Hillary Lost, I wrote about this previous journal here,
If Democrats will not ask how Clinton did worse among blacks than any Democrat in 20 years, worse among Asians, Hispanics/Latinos, the youth than any dem in 3 cycles, how she lost states that had not gone Republican in almost 30 years then they probably are not ready to face facts.. It is far easier to go RUSSIA!!! PUTIN!!!!! then to ask the hard questions of your party and your candidate.

the ONE THING which made her voters, more than any other issue less likely to vote for her was the FACT that her husband took 500K from a bank connected to the Russian government, and this bank donated over 100M to the Clinton foundation at the same time as she, as secretary of state was signing off on a deal that would benefit that bank and the Russian government ..
so they basically took what was her greatest issue with her own voters and started the RUSSIA RUSSIA stuff..

Why Hillary Clinton got less among the white male than Democrats normally do, and why Trump did very well among women and Clinton actually did worse among women did Obama did in 2012.

Syria and some other stuff

To be fully honest, I am sure many of my followers have read or heard of the 1956 Bruce-Lovett report that this is seventy years in the making.
Now, from what I see is being reported, Assad attacked his people with chemical weapons.
Assad claims they attacked an enemy cache and the stored chemical weapons that were there is what was released.
The UN has said they would like to do a full investigation into the attacks, will that be done? As in will they put people on the ground and investigate it fully, I would hope so but given it is in the middle of a warzone I am not expecting that.
A follower of mine who was a big supporter of Hillary Clinton sent me a message also saying that I said I would not vote for HRC because she is a hawk and look at what Trump is doing now.
Correction, I said I would not be voting for HRC NOR Donald Trump because they are both hawks, but to this individual, what happened a few hours before we dropped bombs on the airfields?

HRC was giving a speech where she said we should bomb the airfields, so it would seem to me whether we got President Clinton or President Trump we would still have bombed the airfields.
On Syria, I have spoken with many of you previously, my view is the same as I had with Obama, I see no real end in sight because the just dropping bombs (of which Obama set records for most of his years as president on the number of bombs dropped - - many of them in Syria) is not a way to defeat an ideology because every new casualty is a potential person who now views your nation as the problem.
Before Trump was elected I said I expected Bush 2.0 that is tax cuts, deregulation and wars.. with HRC, I also expected more wars, and neoliberal trade policies.
A friend who read this before I posted said ARE YOU SAYING IT WAS FOR SURE NOT ASSAD!
I want to stretch this, that is not what I am saying. I am skeptical of everything if you do not know that you must be new to my page. Is it possible that it was Assad, of course, is it possible it was another group or the hitting of a cache? sure.
I am not privy to all of the information that the intelligence agencies have, I just am naturally skeptical of our intelligence agencies and given their history of what they have done and we know through wikileaks, declassified documents etc I am just eh... but I am sure, as my friend was, there are many who are 100% certain it was this or that and .. do you.
I just look at our track record.. Yugoslavia, Iraq, Libya, Pakistan, Somalia, Afghanistan, Yemen, and now... Syria.
I admit that I find it a bit odd that many Americans seem more angry that Trump attacked a military base than they were that Obama has been bombing villages since 2011 so it is odd.. and the media is praising Trump - even my own Senator Chuck Schumer praised him.. mad world we are living in

I have not posted in a while and was asked what I thought about what is going on in Syria right now.To be fully honest, I am sure many of my followers have read or heard of the 1956 Bruce-Lovett report that this is seventy years in the making.

My view of this 'resistance'

I was asked my view of this "resistance".
My general view is I cannot take serious a movement, whose morals and ethics I feel are inconsistent to be fully honest. I have several followers who have the "I am the resistance" stuff on their pages and hey.. do you.
If you follow my facebook or twitter, then you already know my many issues with Obama.. and as such my origins for questioning this resistance starts there.
I will oppose Trump when he does terrible things, as I expect I will have to since I am an unapologetic leftist .. liberal..progressive.. but I will oppose Trumps on things I disagree with him as I did with Obama. My issue with many of these "resistance" people, usually or mostly Clinton supporters and Democrats (I did not vote for Clinton or Trump) .. is they were willfully blind when it was their team doing things.
Where was this resistance on a grand scale of marches, and such when Obama deported over 3 million people? breaking up families, causing so much pain? As a grand scale, they were nowhere.
Where was this resistance when some claim their most passionate about the environment when Obama approved 10 keystone sized pipelines just since 2010? I do not recall the massive marches against Obama for this.
Where was this resistance when Obama continuously armed Saudi Arabia who in turn used our weapons and are causing one the worst famines on earth in Yemen where millions of men, women and children are on the verge of starving because Saudi Arabia are using our weapons and refusing aid in some key areas? .. this happening under Nobel Peace Prize winner.. even after twice our own UN Ambassador under Obama asked him to stop selling arms to saudi Arabia and he..continued..
where was this massive resistance then?
Where was this massive resistance when Obama ran on protecting whistle blowers yet under Obama.. he has convicted more whistle blowers than every other administration combined..
Where was this resistance when just a week ago the DOJ, the Obama administration said all sixteen intelligence agencies will now receive the Metadata on American citizens and their international communications and other things? Surely an ever expanding government retaining more of your data is something worthy of resisting but... it was done under a Democrat so I guess not.
Now, should Trump be "resisted" sure, if he does things I disagree with I will call him out .. but you cannot just resist when it is the other team doing something and then silent when it is YOUR TEAM.
If Trump loses in 2020 or he wins and you get a democrat in 2024.
if this democrat increased the number of places we are bombing, as Obama did when compared to Bush, will you resist?
If this democrat deports more people than the Republican before him, as Obama did when compared to Bush. will you resist?
If this democrat increases the countries that we have operations in will you resist? America now has operations going on in 33/54 African nations, that is 60% of Africa. AND THAT IS JUST WHAT THEY ARE ADMITTING TO.. who knows how many more we are.
So I admit it is hard for me to take some of the RESISTANCE people seriously because they seem to only want to resist when it is not their team doing it.
.. I especially have issues with some of these celebrities in the "resistance" who were going around saying if you did not vote for HRC then you are an idiot.. sorry, I cannot vote or someone that referring to black youth as super predators, that seemed to only mention black issues when she needed them to vote and was silent on em other times, who advocated for that which led to the largest arrest and incarceration of black bodies than at any other time in US history..
once again.. where was this resistance for this?
I love the constitution and as such I love the marches, peaceful marches going on around the country now.. but .. will these marches still be there when it is their party doing the terrible deeds or are they only there to resist Republicans and as many of my fellow leftists have been doing over the last 8 years, will turn a blind eye when it is TEAM DEMOCRAT
I will work with anyone to achieve mutual aims on things we agree with. So I respect and am sure on a lot of these issues will find myself in agreement with those who are marching today, but I also want to know are they only filled with anger because it is Trump or a Republican and will they continue such if a Democrat also starts doing much of the things they are claiming they are resisting?
But I find it hard to respect a resistance that did not stand up against a man who had an arm in one of the worst famines on earth .. that man being Obama. Now you cannot claim to care for human rights and then silent as someone you may have voted for, I voted for him, has a hand in such misery.
so that is one of the reasons why, though they have massive support judging from all of these marches that I am like eh.. when it comes to many of em.

I know many of my followers have different views, especially the ones who have all of the "I am the resistance" stuff on their page, but such is life.. everyone will have their own view on things.
I await to see if this resistance is simply resisting republicans or are just resisting wrong.. and on the "wrong" front Republicans do not hold an exclusive right to being wrong in our politics.
My general view is I cannot take serious a movement, whose morals and ethics I feel are inconsistent to be fully honest. I have several followers who have the "I am the resistance" stuff on their pages and hey.. do you.
If you follow my facebook or twitter, then you already know my many issues with Obama.. and as such my origins for questioning this resistance starts there.
I will oppose Trump when he does terrible things, as I expect I will have to since I am an unapologetic leftist .. liberal..progressive.. but I will oppose Trumps on things I disagree with him as I did with Obama. My issue with many of these "resistance" people, usually or mostly Clinton supporters and Democrats (I did not vote for Clinton or Trump) .. is they were willfully blind when it was their team doing things.
Where was this resistance on a grand scale of marches, and such when Obama deported over 3 million people? breaking up families, causing so much pain? As a grand scale, they were nowhere.
Where was this resistance when some claim their most passionate about the environment when Obama approved 10 keystone sized pipelines just since 2010? I do not recall the massive marches against Obama for this.
Where was this resistance when Obama continuously armed Saudi Arabia who in turn used our weapons and are causing one the worst famines on earth in Yemen where millions of men, women and children are on the verge of starving because Saudi Arabia are using our weapons and refusing aid in some key areas? .. this happening under Nobel Peace Prize winner.. even after twice our own UN Ambassador under Obama asked him to stop selling arms to saudi Arabia and he..continued..
where was this massive resistance then?
Where was this massive resistance when Obama ran on protecting whistle blowers yet under Obama.. he has convicted more whistle blowers than every other administration combined..
Where was this resistance when just a week ago the DOJ, the Obama administration said all sixteen intelligence agencies will now receive the Metadata on American citizens and their international communications and other things? Surely an ever expanding government retaining more of your data is something worthy of resisting but... it was done under a Democrat so I guess not.
Now, should Trump be "resisted" sure, if he does things I disagree with I will call him out .. but you cannot just resist when it is the other team doing something and then silent when it is YOUR TEAM.
If Trump loses in 2020 or he wins and you get a democrat in 2024.
if this democrat increased the number of places we are bombing, as Obama did when compared to Bush, will you resist?
If this democrat deports more people than the Republican before him, as Obama did when compared to Bush. will you resist?
If this democrat increases the countries that we have operations in will you resist? America now has operations going on in 33/54 African nations, that is 60% of Africa. AND THAT IS JUST WHAT THEY ARE ADMITTING TO.. who knows how many more we are.
So I admit it is hard for me to take some of the RESISTANCE people seriously because they seem to only want to resist when it is not their team doing it.
.. I especially have issues with some of these celebrities in the "resistance" who were going around saying if you did not vote for HRC then you are an idiot.. sorry, I cannot vote or someone that referring to black youth as super predators, that seemed to only mention black issues when she needed them to vote and was silent on em other times, who advocated for that which led to the largest arrest and incarceration of black bodies than at any other time in US history..
once again.. where was this resistance for this?
I love the constitution and as such I love the marches, peaceful marches going on around the country now.. but .. will these marches still be there when it is their party doing the terrible deeds or are they only there to resist Republicans and as many of my fellow leftists have been doing over the last 8 years, will turn a blind eye when it is TEAM DEMOCRAT

The WH websites are always archived and scrubbed when a new administration is coming in.
when Bush became president (though the WH.gov was still in its infancy having only been launched in 1994.. when the net was still relatively young. it was made relatively bare other than the basics, Clinton policies removed...
(sometimes the wayback machine may change page links, so just go to archive.org/web/ and put whitehouse.gov and check the dates if they did that.)

Now, if in 2020 Trump is defeated, or if in 2024 when the new President wins. you will see the day of their inauguration the Whitehouse website will be scrubbed and archived again so the next administration can start placing their policies and such on the site. It is not some massive conspiracy .. which is how some people are acting as it is.
