The WH websites are always archived and scrubbed when a new administration is coming in.
when Bush became president (though the WH.gov was still in its infancy having only been launched in 1994.. when the net was still relatively young. it was made relatively bare other than the basics, Clinton policies removed...
(sometimes the wayback machine may change page links, so just go to archive.org/web/ and put whitehouse.gov and check the dates if they did that.)
January 18th, 2001 (Before bush was sworn in)

so while as the Trump administration sets up the websites with his policies, .. I am not expecting any progressive, far-reaching things but just unsure why people are acting like the WH website being archived and scrubbed as it was from Clinton to Bush, from Bush to Obama..and now from Obama to Trump is somehow OH NOES!! WHAT HAS HAPPENED FOR THE LAST THREE NEW ADMINISTRATIONS IS HAPPENING NOW as if it has never been done before.. it is always done when a new administration is coming in.
Now, to repeat myself. When the Trump administration actually starts putting stuff on his website I am not expecting to agree with much of it but that is not the point of this piece
Now, if in 2020 Trump is defeated, or if in 2024 when the new President wins. you will see the day of their inauguration the Whitehouse website will be scrubbed and archived again so the next administration can start placing their policies and such on the site. It is not some massive conspiracy .. which is how some people are acting as it is.

Sadly the new McCarthyist era is now on the left (and some right too) that if you do not hop on the RUSSIA train then CLEARLY you must work for the Kremlin.
I have had the same view as I always have, if you have evidence of the claims, release em - sorry not just oh noes this person spoke to a Russian and that shows what we say is true which has been the Rachel Maddow thing seemingly since the election.

SyriaI have not posted in a while and was asked what I thought about what is going on in Syria right now.
To be fully honest, I am sure many of my followers have read or heard of the 1956 Bruce-Lovett report that this is seventy years in the making.
Now, from what I see is being reported, Assad attacked his people with chemical weapons.
Assad claims they attacked an enemy cache and the stored chemical weapons that were there is what was released.
The UN has said they would like to do a full investigation into the attacks, will that be done? As in

I was asked my view of this "resistance".
My general view is I cannot take serious a movement, whose morals and ethics I feel are inconsistent to be fully honest. I have several followers who have the "I am the resistance" stuff on their pages and hey.. do you.
If you follow my facebook or twitter, then you already know my many issues with Obama.. and as such my origins for questioning this resistance starts there.
I will oppose Trump when he does terrible things, as I expect I will have to since I am an unapologetic leftist .. liberal..progressive.. but I will oppose Trumps on things I disagree with him as I did with Obama. My issue with

The Democrats did a lot of damage to themselves in this past election. Insulting half your base and much of the undecided by calling them "Ridicoulous" and a "Basket of deplorables" isn't gonna win you any points. I think of myself in the Bernie or Stein mold and I will not accept anyone just because of the letter by their name. I mean Rand Paul voted to approve Bernie's importation bill to allow importing drugs from Canada to help reduce costs and he's a Republican-Libertarian. I applaud taking an effort to make prescription drugs cheaper.
